Processor Review: Intel Core i9-14900k Desktop Processor 24(8 P-cores + 16 e-cores) - Unlocked
Over the past decade, Intel has produced high quality computer processors. I have used other processors in the past and I had issues with them and the PC Build did not last as long. The Intel processors that I have used in the past lasted 10 years and potentially longer if the motherboards had lasted longer.
It is with great confidence that I have chosen Intel for my processor. The i9 14900K is one of the fastest and stable processors that will work on a z790 motherboard running at 6.0 GHz and 24 core processors. The 14900KS runs at 6.2 GHz, however the processor runs hotter than the 14900K and is a bit more unstable. Since I use my computer as a workstation, I chose the 14900K because the stability of the processor was most important.
It is important to note that getting a processor that is unlocked means that a motherboard that utilizes AI to maximize the performance of the processor is able to do so. Otherwise, you would not be able to take advantage of this feature.
Not only would this processor be good for a workstation, but it would be great for gaming! This processor will be able to handle anything that you can throw at it. The 14th gen processor is designed to work with all the modern games and has the flexibility to deliver the ultimate performance.
